Please note that none of the locations and changes described below will be included in the game when it opens. To help create an accurate impression of the game, we have included several imprints suggested by prospective players from the TDM Imprints Submissions. These prompts and locations are only for the TDM. A new arrangement of imprints will be picked when the game opens, which will likely look completely different from the TDM. Please keep this in mind when applying to the game in the future.
As this is our second TDM, you can find more detailed descriptions of the TDM-only locations on TDM #1. Feel free to use prompts from the previous TDM as well if you missed out on it!
Threads from the TDM may be used as samples on your application. TDM samples must be 2 threads with different characters, each with at least 5 comments from your character. Responding to other players on the TDM will also be part of an AC bonus, so we encourage anyone who plans to app to tag out to other players as well.

New Location: The Fendt Hope Library
Across from the USJ dome stands an enormous six-floor castle. The entrance boasts a large open room decorated with hanging bird cages, colorful teddy bears of varying sizes, and books. Many, many books, filling shelves that line every wall of the room. Traveling further within, there are hundreds of rooms and hallways arranged almost like a hotel, except every room is its own miniature library. Each room has the same layout, including a desk with a lamp, a round table with chairs in the center, a ladder, and rows of shelves on every wall. Teddy bears have been placed around each room, some of them sitting in chairs or on top of shelves and stacks of books. Many of the rooms feature large square windows with gold curtains drawn.
On the first floor near the entrance is a small tavern-like area with a bar, also surrounded by bookshelves on all sides. There are several wooden tables with chairs for guests to sit, though teddy bears have been placed in some of the seats. A large person-sized bear is seated behind the bar. The only shelf that isn't full of books is instead filled with old wine bottles.
There is a staircase that goes down to the basement, where more hallways and library rooms can be found. The basement rooms are much dingier with gray stone walls and no windows, though otherwise look the same as the other library rooms. Notably, the doors in the basement rooms can only be locked from the outside.
Scenario A: Think Positive!
The world has been filled with many things - animals, plants, people, objects... and among those objects, something has stood out. Objects that demand a greater purpose, to be filled with energy that they cannot themselves create. They have not gone unnoticed, and so, too, does the world notice. Machines are more complex than blocks of metal and plastic. Lights are more than wire and glass. What is it that breathes the life into them that people have come to expect?
Finally, the answer has become clear. Anger, disappointment, frustration: these are all feelings that have been poured into these lifeless objects. Energy, such as electricity, must surely come from those emotions.
That isn't to say making electricity is a simple task, or one that can be so easily controlled. A strong emotion can be quite shocking, but that strength must be maintained to power something for more than a few seconds. But you don't want to be electrocuting everyone you come into contact with, either, so with a bit of coordination, a group of people will have much better luck than one person by themselves.
A crowd in the Heavenly Blanc is enough to make the lights flicker, and you might even be able to get the jukebox going. The music sounds a bit strange, with titles and lyrics that almost seem jumbled together from several different songs, but a tune is still a tune. The lighthouse arcade is especially lively, machines buzzing and blaring with noise the moment anyone steps in, though you'll need a friend or two to play along if you want it to get the game to start. The games, too, seem like a bit of a jumbled mess - or maybe Initial DANCE Taikoaster Versus is just ahead of its time.
Most electronics will now function, provided they have the energy source to do so. More advanced functions may not work correctly, such as long-distance connections. The more complex the device, the more emotional power you'll need to use it.
Scenario B: Take A Look, It's In A Book
With the addition of a another library, books have become an important feature to the world's landscape. Words that were once a jumbled mess have been reformed, arranged into something that can now be understood. Unfortunately, there is still a lack of content to fill every book in the world - most of them are identical copies of the same few books, though there may be slight variations between copies.
Geography contains an accurate map of the known world, including detailed descriptions and sketches of important landmarks and buildings. Any observations that people have made thus far have been noted here, including a few direct quotes. It also describes some of the flora and fauna, though it doesn't go into much detail beyond where they can be found. Each copy has a chapter at the end titled "The Rest Of The World" containing hundreds of blank pages.
Regional Pokédex is a bestiary of all the creatures currently residing in the world. There are only 5 entries, with the rest of the book filled with the same image of a large question mark in a circle at the center of each page. Some of the copies of the book use different names for the same creatures, but the first four entries in each copy describes fireys, jellyrabbits, ghowls, and the Eiffel Tower in the style of short observational notes. The average height, weight, and footprint shape of each creature is also listed. The fifth entry has no title, but lists the average height, weight, and approximate footprint shape of every single person in the world as if they were a single species. The descriptions on this page are much more disjointed and contain wildly different information across copies, but all of the entries list observations and physical details of individuals that have arrived in the world.
Questions Vol.1 is a book of questions. Every question about the world that someone has voiced thus far has been listed somewhere in this book. Some questions are detailed and specific, while others are single word questions like "sleep?" There are no answers provided, but some of the pages have handwritten theories underneath that vary between copies. All of the theories match what people have discussed among themselves so far.
Drinks is a recipe book. It lists several recipes for simple drinks one can make with water, alcohol, coffee beans, and tea leaves. Nearly all of the recipes have an alcoholic variant, even when it doesn't make sense. Each recipe includes step by step instructions on how to prepare the ingredients without electricity. This book also details everything people have observed about the world's water supply and its relaxing properties.
Scenario C: Lucky Buns
Luck might seem a simple idea on the surface: if you have good luck, good things happen to you, and if you have bad luck then bad things happen. Where, however, does luck come from? Everyone has different ideas and different superstitions surrounding the concept. One such superstition is tied to rabbits, which is like a fluffy, tentacled creature that swims quietly through the air. A rabbit's luck is tied to its feet. However, touching this particular creature's feet tends to sting and hurt people. On that basis, then, touching the jellyrabbit's feet is clearly bad luck, and so anyone who has felt that sting will experience other forms of bad luck. Whether this comes in the form of trips, falls, getting lost or similar kinds of misfortune relies entirely upon what one's individual idea of bad luck is.
Conversely, touching other parts of the creature must be tied to good luck. Many people do quite like to pet soft and fluffy creatures, after all, so it's only natural that doing so would gift them with good luck. Perhaps they might find things more easily, meet people with similar interests, win games of chance more often, or find a $100 note in their back pocket - money might have no meaning here, but if this is what people consider 'good luck', then that is what will happen.
Once a streak of luck, good or bad, is triggered, it does not wear off on its own. It can only be replaced by luck of an opposing nature, or removed entirely by touching one of the other local creatures.
The creatures' tie to luck is not immediately apparent. Once people learn and understand, however, the information will soon find its way into a copy of the library's Regional Pokédex.

Ren searches - not at the tables, not looking for a book in any of the shelves... But the trail of fluff on the floor catches his attention. Following it, he finds Akechi with his dagger and he instinctively patted himself in his confusion. When...??
That's not the most important thing here. What he sees is Akechi and his innocent victim, to which he gazes, eyebrows almost fusing with each other as he puts the scene together.)

[Hornet had been conducting her own investigation of the basement, though her methods are rather less robust than this young man's. Mostly, she's checking that there aren't any monsters waiting to jump any unarmed fools. So far, there haven't been any, but you never know.]
[Standing across the hall, it would be easy to mistake Hornet for an oddly dressed human— if you don't look too closely at the legs. Then again, the blank mask and massive bladed weapon probably count as creepy whether or not the person wearing them is a bug. Regardless, she continues speaking in a polite tone.]

Izuku Midoriya | My Hero Academia | OTA
[At first, it feels like just the presence of people are what power things here, but it becomes obvious to Izuku pretty soon after hanging around any one of the locations here for any amount of time that it's not just the people. It's their behavior, how they're feeling that's getting things running. It's strange and fascinating, if a bit inconvenient...
He's found himself in Heavenly Blanc after making this very revelation, watching the lights flicker overhead when more people come in. It isn't until a brief argument between patrons near the counter causes a few of the lights directly overhead to buzz ominously before it becomes clear to Izuku that this is probably going to be a bit of a double edged sword...
And sure enough, it comes to pass when two of the lightbulbs overhead suddenly explode when the argument becomes too heated for them to handle, and unfortunately Izuku happened to be sitting right there. And so did you! Hope you're good at picking glass out of your hair.]
Ah- a-are you alright?
B) It's in a Book
[Of course Izuku would eventually find and visit the library, though he can safely say he was NOT expecting there to be this many books. It's honestly almost overwhelming, but it's not like he has much else at his disposal right now...so he'll find something to read through after locating a chair that isn't curently occupied by a bear, said thing happening to be the "Regional Pokedex".
Coming across the page with all of the people listed, though...]
How could someone get all of this information?
C) Lucky Buns
[Izuku loves the jellyrabbits. They're much less stressful to be around compared to the Fireys, and they tend to seem pretty docile so long as you're not attempting to grab hold of their more jellyfish-like parts. They seem to be found just about anywhere too, and Izuku has come across a little cluster of them while visiting the non-fire filled dome of the USJ. They don't seem to mind as he stops in his exploration of the familiar (yet non) area to pet them, gently patting the tops of their umbrella bodies between their ears. He's not the only one near them though, whether you just happened by or wanted to come pet one, too.]
They're really cute, aren't they? If a little strange...
C. Sorry for Seto and his attitude in advance!
[The brunette scoffed as he came to a halt and crossed his arms over his chest. He looked at the other boy with a look of scrutiny. The stranger didn't look that much younger than himself, but it was difficult to say with certainty. The jelly rabbits would have fit in with some of the creatures present in the duel monsters card game. That's the only thing they had going for them ]

"I've had much worse than this on almost a daily basis, thanks to my research. I'm fine, my boy, please don't worry." He points out the various pieces of glass on Izuku's person, and will reach out to brush them away if he doesn't do it himself. "And you? Are you alright?"
Nearby there's a small open notebook, filled with sketches and notes about the world they're in. Some of them might be familiar if he's been to the library already -- they're exact copies of some of the sketches in the books there. Or are some of the sketches in the library books exact copies of what's in his little notebook?

A. Wily's used to shattered glass.
He started removing the glass shards from his hair and brushing them off his head, used to it after 20 destroyed Wily Machines and Wily Capsules. To his side, he heard a voice, asking if he was alright. "I'm fine,", he briefly replied, before turning to the two that shattered the lights with their argument. "You idiots! Stay just angry enough for them to stay lit, NOT ANGRY ENOUGH TO BLOW THEM OUT!" he yelled at them, stopping after another lightbulb began to buzz. He turned back away, trying to control his anger as he thought about how he'd get the materials for his robots.

The shattered glass is definitely unwelcomed and everywhere - in Izuku's drink and even hiding between Ren's messy locks of hair.) I'm ok. Are you ok?
(Well, it seemed like that was enough warning for the two to tone their fight down - Ren didn't have to do it. Instead, he already busies himself with picking the pieces to dispose, including Izuki's drink to be replaced with a non-deadly one.)

Ren Amamiya | Persona 5 Royal | OTA
(It's a quiet... Whatever time it is? Time is definitely one of the things he cannot comprehend in this place. That aside, there's not a soul in Heavenly Blanc as of now, so Ren takes the opportunity to organize the place for the next customer - if they can still be called that.
This place has quickly became of great importance to Ren, the resemblance of home drawing him to it each and every day. It's a sense of normalcy to pick up the apron from under the counter and help those who are looking for some comfort - be it in company, or in coffee.
He is cleaning the tables when the customer arrives, smiling and offering a gentle nod.)
Welcome!
2. Almost a party
(Ah, a crowd at Heavenly Blanc! This was uncommon and Ren is going hard - putting together coffee orders, as Tifa herself had already said there was no way he'd serve alcohol. Sounded good to him! He does what he can, taking orders and just overall being delighted by the electricity that makes the lights flicker. With the Drinks book open in front of him, Ren attempts each (seemingly) non-alcoholic beverage there is, leaving them lined-up on the counter for the brave ones.)
How is it? (He asks whoever took one for the team.)
3. A Series of Unlucky Events
(When Ren stretched his arms earlier, he definitely should have kept his eyes open. The sting in his arm is still uncomfortable under the blazer he is currently wearing, but he thinks little about it as he moves to explore the new building.
On the way, he had tripped several times, each time more painful and damaging than the other. When he finally stepped into the library - opening the gate with an accidental screeching sound from the wood that was too loud not to turn heads towards the entrance. So much for not calling attention?
Something was very, very wrong, he could tell, but the confirmation came when he tiptoes to reach for a book, when he slips and a mountain of knowledge fall upon him. Buried beneath all the books, he emerges and rubs his head for a second or two, processing the mess around him.
Not his lucky day at all.)

Frank Castle | Marvel (Netflix) | OTA
[Frank happened upon the library quite by accident. When he first arrived on one side of the lake, he had walked past the dome without looking inside. He had thought to revisit this after spending his first night near the cafe, but the dome now seems dwarfed by the castle, so that's where he's ended up in first.
The space is quiet, with tall ceilings, and the lonely sound of his boots traversing the old floor echo hauntingly down the shelves. He's not sure what to make of it at first. A children's library with a bar makes for conflicting assumptions.
Soon enough, the titles on the spine take his interest and he's not thinking too hard about the teddy bears or the wine bottles. He reaches out for the Geography book but ends up covering the back of someone else's hand instead, clearly eyeing up the same book or perhaps thinking the same thing he is.
Pulling back quickly, he takes a small step backwards and glances at the person standing next to him before ducking his head.]
Sorry. Go ahead.
HEAVENLY BLANC
[Once Frank finishes up at the library, having traced a map of the world and marked out the landmarks, and scribbled down some ideas to try about drinks without alcohol or electricity, he heads back to the Heavenly Blanc where he had previously found some coffee beans and water.
He's surprised to see a few more people gathering there, but he remains cautious. He's got enough rage simmering inside him, surging just beneath his skin to light up the Eiffel Tower but he seems calm enough right now. Mostly he's just in survival mode and trying to figure out his next move. For better or worse, thoughts of unresolved grief and trauma haven't had a chance to fester yet.]
Hey. [He tips his chin towards the person he's talking to. It's mostly body language with Frank, to compensate for the general ineptitude with social graces. If some people are social butterflies, he's a 6'3" big, unwelcome, ugly brown moth.] When did this place light up?

Legion | mass effect (+CRAU)
Upon discovering that the books contain usable data, they are surprised, upon discovering that this data differs between copies of the same book, they are curious, and on discovering a regional pokedex that contains an unusually large amount of data about them, they let out a long stream of startled Geth chatter, speaking of alerts and errors and possibly even voicing bits of debate between their programs.
They take that book, placing it into the backpack that came with them when they were brought here from Enso, and begin to seek similar discrepancies.
It is, perhaps, a little odd to watch them, with the rapidfire way they flip through the pages, absorbing information as fast as they see it. Sometimes they stop and flip back a page to examine something more closely. They're pretty absorbed in their reading, and likely won't notice anyone who doesn't try to get their attention.)
B) (Legion loves videogames.
The discovery of the lighthouse was fascinating when they first saw it, but with the presence of functioning power it is a delight, at least until they attempt to start up a game and find that they cannot.
They sag a bit, chattering to themselves in confusion.)

There's loads of machines, and his first thought is neat, maybe there's something to waste time in here at the end of the universe. And then he sees the weird mashup that is that first machine he sets eyes on, and scratches his head.]

...Yeah, buddy, we sure do.
[That's not an answer. Other people have productive answers, and he hums for a moment, before opening the Drinks book. He sees the alcoholic recipes, and finally, his brows arch with interest. Now that's thinking with portals!

Dr. Wily | Mega Man
Dr. Wily cursed as the lights flickered once again, only to shortly dim once more. "Focus, you idiots! We need electricity!" he exclaimed to the rest of this crowd. He hoped that soon there would be enough electricity to power robots once he's able to make them again. This much electricity wouldn't be enough to power even Junk Man.

Wily flipped through the pages of Geography, going through blank page after blank page. After the final page, he closed the book in frustration. This place was far too empty. He'd have to find somewhere in the endless expanse to build his fortress.

That it now has power is of interest, though the use appears to be minimal.
They are standing near the jukebox, listening to its strange, disjointed music, when it is interrupted by shouting.
They chatter to themselves-error, interruption-in the distinctly mechanical language of the Geth, and turn to watch the old man. They do not attempt to interact-he is clearly angry-but the sound itself might draw attention. There is, at the very least, one robot that's running just fine.)

It helps when there's a pretty girl behind the bar, too. That is a distinctly nice touch to the place. He's not paying too much attention to anything particular when the bartender makes her way over, offering him a free drink. Whoa. This is like, one of his dreams. He's tempted to pinch himself, but he really, really doesn't want to be dreaming right now.]
Uh, hell yeah? Thank you!
[His entire face has lit up. He looks down at the drink - purple. Heh. Reminds him of Ichimatsu. Cute little umbrella, too. 'Blue Belle', she calls it. Haven't had this before. Basically, he's resisting the urge to look too overly happy. He takes a swig--oh. Yep! That's good stuff!]
Was wondering why you called it blue when it's purple, but now I can tell there's definitely blueberries in here. That's good stuff. And it has a kick, which is even better...you snuck some kinda alcohol in here. Lemmie guess it, I'm like, an expert.
[Another sip. Alright, Oso, don't screw this up. Get it right, impress the lady with how smart you are.]
It's not sake. It's not gin. It's...it's got a tang to i-- [Pause. Sniff. Sip.] It's rum. It's gotta be. Am I right, or am I right?

Birds are gonna eat those pyramids. There are gonna be some fat birds in Egypt, my man.
[pause]
Or wherever the pyramids are now.
[He hums, though, before thinking aloud]
Niagra Falls. But with beer. Or maybe like--ooh, oh. Better. That palace, over in England? Except the guards are all dogs that might talk. No one knows for sure.

Cole | Dragon Age: Inquisition
[Cole has maintained a level of calm through his attempts to navigate this place and determine his reason for being here. It's strange and unusual in a sense, yes, but he was sure that he was here for a specific reason. One that was made hard to find by how quiet everything was, but whoever needed his help had to be here somewhere.]
[Except it turns out he wasn't the only one pulled here, and these other people are normal people, confused and lost. And this place shares so many characteristics of the Fade, yet he can't hear any part of it- and that's just it. What if it's not that it's quiet, but that he has lost the ability to hear?]
[He's been through The Heavenly Blanc Bar & Cafe before, occasionally pulled into conversations but mostly keeping to himself, just people watching. Now, he huddles close to the jukebox, back pressed into the corner formed by where it's pushed up against the wall, as if trying to make make himself invisible. But everyone can see him now. They can see him, but he can't tell what they're thinking, what they're feeling. They look at him and he doesn't understand. He doesn't know how to help any of them. His mind is so silent, dull and dormant.]
[Is this the Fade? Has he somehow slipped back without even realizing it? Is this all some illusion, keeping him bound and powerless? Or-]
No, no, that can't be, I can't be, I c-can't be like this-
[He mutters in quiet distress, shoulders hunching and hands gripping tightly at his sleeves. The jukebox beside him flickers to life, abruptly playing some jumbled tune that may resemble some song you know but there's another sound beneath it, indescribable and ethereal. And just like that, he begins to relax, breathing out a half-relieved sigh.]
Oh...
2. The Library
[Books hold little interest for Cole. Still, it's a place that wasn't here before, so he should at least look through it in case there are any more answers to be found. Though he's hoping to find a person who has says answers, or something to that effect. He doesn't touch a single book as he wanders the various if unvaried rooms. The endless repetition of one room, repeated again and again as if the world doesn't understand enough shapes to make them different, once again reminds him of what he recalls of the Fade. But if this is like the Fade, then whose will is affecting this place, making it change?]
[He doesn't go very far into the basement. The windowless, dirty stone walls and doors that lock only from the outside are nostalgic and discomfiting, and not in equal measure. He doesn't want to look down here.]
[He goes back up and heads into the tavern-like space, and whether it was like that to start or some other visitor left it behind, a copy of Drinks lies open on one of the wooden tables. He happens to glance down as he passes by, and he pauses, looking over a few lines.]
[No, not just looking. Reading. Understanding.]
...Oh. I didn't know I could do that.

King Bowser Koopa | Super Mario | OTA
Bowser had never particularly enjoyed reading. However, a library appeared from nowhere, and Bowser'd been told knowledge is power. And since Bowser loves power, he had to investigate. Expecially since knowledge, at the moment, had been in short supply. Bowser's one theory, that the world was a decaying remnant of a destroyed world, was debunked by the existence of new things. So Bowser, with his trusty pipe weapon, ventured into the castle.
Bowser read, and by doing so he learned new information. Knowledge about the locations, the names of the creatures he'd encountered, and that of the Eiffel Tower. The books were mostly empty, make little sense, and mostly told him what he already knew. This only mildly annoyed Bowser. Then, however, he looked in the questions book, and saw quotes from himself, in verbatim, sometimes with his name cited. The lights around him intesified as he read, until he threw a book onto the ground in anger.
"STOP BEING WEIRD NOT-REAL BOOKS"
B: Bowser Seizes Knowledge which is Power
Later, Bowser began attempting to steal the library books. Not that he thought anyone owned them. Eventually he realised there were only five books in the library, with many copies, but the Pokédexes contained some useful variations, so he began tearing out entries labelled "People" or something else the other books didn't have, and stuffing them in his shell. Though not stealthy, and pretty sure there were no laws of any kind where he was, he tried to ensure he wasn't seen taking pages or books. Eventually, however, he was caught. And so he said, to whoever happened to see him, "You saw nothing. Capiche?"
C: The Bar and Café
Bowser had made never claimed to own the Heavenly Blanc. However, he had grown to appreciate a particular booth. Still, he had been exploring what parts of the world currently existed, and could not guard his spot. So while he was away, he had used a piece of paper from a book somewhere and ground-up coffee beans to write "This spot belongs to BOWSER: Evil King of the Koopas. Don't sit here."
Most people, it seemed, did not seem to care about his claim to ownership over the table. Some threw it away, making it so others wouldn't even see it. It didn't matter aggressively or amiably he wrote it, often he would return find others at his booth. Bowser, being the friendly and forgiving man that he was, would simply brandish his pipe, hitting his palm with it, covered in scratches from a fight with a Ghowl, and glare, saying, "You're in my spot, pal."
Wild Card
B
Hearing the sound of ripping paper, Wily shouted, "Quiet down!" Looking up from his book, he saw a large, bipedal, turtle-like creature tearing pages from one of the books. The creature turned towards Wily, telling him to keep quiet about what he saw. Wily's face sported a large grin. Perhaps he could use this to obtain more information.
"Hmph. Tell me everything you learned from these books, and I won't tell anyone that you've been tearing apart the books," Wily told the creature.

Pitch Black | RotG | ota
[A tall thin black shadow of a man hunches over one of the arcade machines, intent on figuring out what on earth the appeal of these things might be. They're working now with a bit of feeling put into them. A first for him, arcade games! He's never had the time or inclination to mess around in an arcade before, of course. The lights from the screens would normally be too bright to stare directly at, the unbelieving people would walk through him in that horrible painful way... not worth it for a few minutes of entertainment.
But neither of those things are a problem for him at the moment, and it feels as if he's been here for quite some time. It's getting dull. A Boogeyman trapped in a dreamspace full of fearless people, who are probably figments of his imagination, has to entertain himself somehow. Try as he might, he can't sense the slightest whisper of fear in anyone... it makes all the others seem like empty shells, missing that vital spark everyone has inside them, spirit and mortal alike. Much more plausible (comforting?) to keep on behaving as if the people around him aren't real.
Unfortunately, he can't win the game. Terrible luck he's having, the power keeps running--not to mention the game itself makes no sense. The screen goes dark once more, prompting him to smack the side of the machine irritably. Come on, come on, let him play longer for ten minutes already, he's bored.]
You useless, miserable thing! [It flickers back on with that quick burst of anger and he eyeballs it warily...]
Library
[Some indeterminate amount of time later, he's found the new building and is wandering through it aimlessly. The books are obviously as fake as the people. It's getting so old. What did the Nightmares do to him? Is this ever going to end? It would be a nightmare, an eternity of this, but it's subtler than the ones they'd trapped him in earlier.]
I wonder what's happened to me. Catatonia? Coma?
[This he says casually to no one in particular, with the air of someone very very used to holding conversations with himself... while stuffing yet another poor suffering teddy bear into one of the cages and closing the door. Haha.]

still, the sound of the door's enough to make him crack an eye open, and he frowns sleepily when he sees who it is, pushing himself upright in the squishy pile. .. pitch, here? well, it's not as much of a shock as it could be, really. the two of them are the oldest, after all, and they're tied together in some ways.
he huff silently, arching gold brows and then spreading his hands, head tilting questioningly. well? it clearly says without his usual symbols appearing. what now? ]

Eleytheria | Original | OTA
...however, it seems that since his arrival, Eley has found himself shrunk down so he is just small enough to fit inside the various new buildings. Not only that but there is no wind to carry him, no wind for him to direct or play with as were his usual powers. This world was too still and lifeless for him, and it made him anxious.
Scenario A - Arcade
[What else do you need to increase your anxiety? To find yourself stepping into a room full of machines that at first had seemed silent... dead... completely non-threatening... and to find that the more people filtered in, the more they seemed to spring to life with colours and sounds until Eley's ears were ringing from the cacophony!
The dragon backs up against a wall, standing right beside an arcade cabinet with two plastic guns embedded in it. He stares at it, eyes wide.]
Just what are these machines? Are they... weapons? Are humans using them to fight one another?
Scenario B - Library
[Being a creature of the air, Eleytheria rarely entered enclosed spaces as it made him feel restricted, uncomfortable. Yet, given that the outside in this world also unnerved him with its general blank-ness and its seemingly nonsensical constructions, he thought he may as well search for a place of solace amongst the mayhem.
Upon poking his head into the library, the dragon surveys the many, many shelves of books and recalls the Royal Library that resides in the Agkelon Palace, the place he now thought of as 'home'. It was a quiet place where academics pored over tomes to learn the many wonders of the world. Perhaps he too could find some peace within the pages.
Eley approaches the nearest shelf, running a claw over the spines that lined the shelves... before realising that they all appear to be the same few books. Really? Even this place was devoid of detail? Oh well, he'll try to remove one of the books labelled Questions Vol. 1 and while he has no trouble with that, he fails to take note of where his tail is going as he turns around to find a place to read it.
...he may have just sent several books flying off the shelf with that tail swipe, oops.]

A
[Cole has never met a dragon that wasn't aggressive, or at least defensive of its territory. Though this creature doesn't look like any dragons he's familiar with. It's more like a big fuzzy snake. And it talks like a person. Maybe it's something else entirely.]
[Most importantly, it seems distressed.]
[The amount of lights and noise are unusual for him too, but he focuses on the creature, approaching without getting too close.]
I don't think so. They make a lot of noise and lights, but they're supposed to make people happy, I think. They're not dangerous.
[Though he's only seen the ones in the bar/cafe in action before now. And he has no idea what a gun even is.]
