"A Pokedex? Yes, a Pokedex is a device we use to catalogue Pokemon, so that we can call upon that information when we come across them in the wild. It's short for 'Pokemon Index'." He cocks his head slightly.

"I'm not definitively saying the wildlife here aren't Pokemon... but they lack a few traits that all Pokemon have. Do you remember what this 'Pokedex' said?"
