I wonder why someone would gather information like that and just... stick in a book.

[ gathering the information isn't strange, and it further implies someone on this strange planet is monitoring them. that isn't out of the ordinary at all. but a book that either anyone can pick up, or one they may never find among an assortment of random ones?

not understanding the logic, she begins flipping through the pages mindlessly. she thinks to find out if she is among the files, but she can't quite locate anything. she almost hopes she isn't there, though it's more likely she just can't suss out how everything is ordered. she offers it back to legion, unsatisfied but not wanting to pursue further. ]

I'm guessing it doesn't have anything on why we're here though.
