Thank you for your suggestion! This concept isn't quite something we could use at the game's launch, but we wanted to give some feedback on it anyway since it's otherwise quite good. The only hitch is that it relies on an already existing concept of death, which the world doesn't yet have. A concept like this wouldn't be usable until death as a concept had been introduced, and may also need a concept of ghosts or something similar to that to allow the dead to interact with the world.

Prayer wouldn't need to be a unique concept unless it was given an additional meaning. For the concept you submitted, it's perfectly fine since the core idea is that the dead can be asked to intervene with the living. "Praying" is just another way of asking, in this case.
