The Mandalorian pauses in the doorframe. "If you like." He replies finally. Now that he knows his ward wasn't in any immediate danger, he doesn't see the harm of it. And the Kid seems to like her at least, but he's also a baby and therefore his judgment is just a bit suspect. But for now Ahsoka seems to pass muster.
He makes his way into the front area, the Child tottering along and managing to keep pace fairly well with his guardian. In the cafe area, he carefully picks the Child up and places him directly on the table, and then sits down, his back to the corner so he has a commanding view of the room. There are a few other chairs where Ahsoka can sit. He does not remove the helmet.
This is all good fun for the Child, who gurgles happily as seats are taken. "That huge installation isn't far from here." He muses aloud to himself, watching the Child having a good time. "Suppose that's as good a place as any to check next." At least drinkable water wasn't too hard to come by, and the Kid was getting by on a thermos of bone broth he'd been carrying on him when...whatever this was had happened, but they were going to need real food soon, and some place to make a camp and figure things out. A place that huge might tick all those boxes.
And a lot of other people here probably figured that too, but there wasn't anything they could do about that except keep a watchful, wary eye out...and make sure the Kid didn't let his curiosity get the better of him.
