I've survived before without Dragonite, and I'm sure I'll continue to do so.
[ a bit dryly; he had nothing but a dratini and a magikarp when he got shoved into the ice caves for training, and he survived just fine, thanks!!! but lance lets blue lead the way, sliding his hands into his pockets as he scans the surrounding area. it truly looks like an odd . . . mish-mash of places, jammed together. there's no real rhyme or reason.
the wilderness areas sort of remind him of johto. especially the lake, down the cliffside . . . the lake of rage has a lot of painful memories, but it's truly a beautiful place. full of wildlife and peace, when left alone. but the buildings and graffiti sort of ruin it, much to lance's chagrin.
sometimes people should just leave the wilderness alone.

I'm not so sure I'm the waterslide type of person. [ it's a total lie; you don't get to train dragon-type pokemon without loving a rush of adrenaline, but lance is pretty sure his pokemon would enjoy the slide more than he would . . . if they can fit, anyway. ] But a defunct themepark would probably be the least alarming explanation.

And I think we can leave the bottles out of it.
[ he's not babysitting a drunk blue while trapped in this bizarre land, thank you. but as he says so, lance seems to reconsider, and he lets his eyes move to the skies, to see if there are any flying-type pokemon flitting about. ]
At least until we have cause to celebrate, anyway.
