Parsee Mizuhashi | Touhou Project
Contact:
Timezone: EST
Interests/About: Just a nerd with the usual scad of nerd fascinations. Anime/Manga. Fantasy/Sci-Fi. Politics. Board Games. Video Games. Combinations of that.
Character: Parsee Mizuhashi
Canon: Touhou Project
About: Parsee is a "Bridge Princess." That is a youkai/monster/spirit who intentionally performed a ritual to become a monster and get vengeance on her cheating husband centuries ago. Afterwards, she haunted the bridge she transformed beside and became worshiped by locals as a spirit presiding over bridges, separations, crossings and divorces/breakups. She's a spirit of jealousy who later fled the mortal realm as spirits were forgotten to a secluded valley and the bridge leading into old hell there. She is capable of naturally affecting other's emotions, though only jealousy (making it worse or better) and is well known for having a really nasty personality in hell because she is constantly jealous of others.
In the Void/Proteus (as she and Legion sometimes call it), she has been undergoing a 'purification' process as repeated attempts by her CR have been made to pray at her shrine for things other than divorce/unpleasantness, but rather for protection and fortune. She's recently undergone a Chinkon/Purification rite done by Watanuki. So she is struggling somewhere between Pure and Corrupt. A Bridge Princess is a Bridge Princess, but spirits sometimes have beneficent states and malevolent ones. She's 'trying' to find out if she can be the former, not the latter.
General Plans: This month is quite obviously where the 'rubber hits the road.' In principle, if she were a corrupted spirit still, she'd be able to curse people with misfortune and manipulate/increase their jealousy. Just like she normally would. The birth of Empathic Powers for Spirits in the Void would theoretically enable her to actually do that sort of thing, but as February rolls around? She'll find she can't.
And if she sees another spirit DO that, she's going to be either terrified, gleeful or enraged depending, because she should be able, but if she can't what does that mean about her? What it actually means is that, because of the Chinkon rite and people's concerted effort to purify her, she's teetering on the balance of Pure Spirit or Corrupt Spirit, and sometime in the next month and a half? She's going to stop teetering and head in one direction.
Also, she just got back from a canon update (which is a reminder that Gensokyo's an awful place that she doesn't miss, and also a greater awareness of the modern world/urban legends). Almost as soon as she gets back, she'll fall ill with emotional distress, because she's a roiling mass of terrible, unaddressed emotions. The first and most is that she might have feelings for someone. As soon as she coughs up the first petals, she is going to recognize Hanahaki's symptoms and FREAK THE FUCK OUT.
So, this month is going to involve an open post with a lot of Parsee trying to make peace with and figure out her feelings, what she is. Where she's going. Some of that will continue into March and likely always (She was a malevolent youkai for a thousand years. Old habits die hard.)
CR Planning:
No official planning, but there's going to be lots of petal coughing! Provided Rinoa's player's on board, she'll probably hold out until the 12-14 day range before finally handling this. She'll be in a state, but she'll be ok... eventually.
Definitely up for any CR you want to throw at me.
Imprint Planning:
-I'm planning a Concept Imprint involving the Bridge, but that won't be put forward until April so I'll save that talk for next month.
-At some point, two-tailed cat necromancers will be around! She's sorry about that too!
Event Planning:

Interests/About: I mostly plurk about Final Fantasy XIV to be honest! I have multiple alts, but I keep my main on Siren (Aether). I'm also a crafter and a doodler, though right now I am very focused on getting my studies done (which is why I sometimes drop off the face of the planet instead of doing my tags). I'm never around Friday/Saturday/Sunday due to my work schedule, sorry!
I play two characters here, so I'm splitting them up down below.
Viridi | Kid Icarus: Uprising
Contact:
Timezone: EST
Interests/About: Most of my spare time is spent on RP and video games. If you join my Plurk, expect: grousing about my job, grousing about Covid, grousing about my life, and a lot of Animal Crossing plurks (I am very good at grousing.) No, OK, I try to be reasonable about my grousing quota.
Character: Viridi
Canon: Kid Icarus: Uprising
About: Viridi does not try to be reasonable about her grousing quota. Her grousing quota is limitless. Pint-sized Goddess of Nature and Ruler of All Living Things who has lived through centuries of endless abuse from humans after sacrificing a great deal for them. Even her enemies admit that her grievances are legitimate. Consequently, she has a very low opinion of humanity and is not afraid to show it. Very sarcastic, very acerbic, unpleasant and unkind - and she knows it. Once upon a time, she was the mother to all life. There's a small hint of that left in her.
General Plans: Viridi is being more reasonable nowadays, though that's liable to go south as the only people she likes here keep leaving. I have no idea where things will go with her right now! In canon, she's a major antagonist who converts to being a major protagonist by necessity. She could really go either way, though she's certainly not going to make it easy for anyone.
CR Planning: Viridi has enough enemies and her friends keep leaving! Anyone who can deal with her in a slightly positive or neutral way would be appreciated. Of course, if it's natural that she annoys you, no worries. Always happy to play out some snide banter and insults, too.
Imprint Planning: I have a vague thought of importing either:
Eggplant Wizards who cast magic spells that turn people into eggplants or
The Rewind Spring, which reverses time
I also have a vague thought of Viridi thinking more and more that this place should be developing a spirit of the world sooner or later and an 'organic imprint' might be about the Void developing its own god.
Event Planning:
Viridi is totally fine! She has never been afraid to show her emotions at all! And her skin is too beautiful and perfect to be injured.
This is what she will think up until she starts dying from this ridiculous disease and she will truly have no idea what is happening but at least she's dying from flowers, so that's good she'll like that.
This is buried so so so so deep down that Viridi herself doesn't even know what's wrong, but her deep inner wound is her resentment towards the way humans have treated her and all of nature and her longing for them to be the protectors of the land they were meant to be. The idea of humans living in harmony with nature is a distant pipe dream, of course. Viridi is very much a corrupt spirit at this point, having been brought to ruin by humanity's violent and evil actions, and she's liable to spread her disease to others if anybody is interested in that.
She might never recover from this! It would really take a lot of help for her to realize what the problem is, but if you think you're capable of helping, let me know.
Other: Viridi breaks the fourth wall a LOT. If you want to opt out of this, let me know here.
Crystal Exarch // Final Fantasy XIV
Canon: Final Fantasy XIV
About: The Exarch is the de facto leader of one of the two largest and most powerful cities in the region of Norvrandt, the Crystarium. He's known only by his title of the Crystal Exarch, because they needed to call him something and apparently he absolutely refused to be made King (though interestingly, he does actually have royal blood, which is why his eyes are MSPaint red). He appeared about a hundred years ago out of nowhere, and claims to have summoned the gleaming spire known as the Crystal Tower (actually named Syrcus Tower) into Norvrandt. With his mastery and knowledge of the tower, he extended its protection and resources to refugees from a disaster that wiped out 90% of the planet, shielding them from threats and enabling them to build a city around it.
He's actually a time traveller from the bad future of another world, seeking to undo a disaster that destroyed one world and set the other on a seemingly irreversible path to oblivion. To ensure he could live long enough and have the power to accomplish his goals, he bound himself to the Crystal Tower, which is why he still appears young and his body is crystallising. He's at least 124 years old mentally, and boy is he tired.
The Exarch is generally a kind-hearted old man, and still retains a sense of optimism and faith in humanity. He believes in hard work and taking action when necessary, and despite being in a position of authority he is more than happy to get his hands dirty. While he does have the trust and admiration of many, he is close to very few, as he hides his origins and identity from all. It's possible (though I like to think otherwise) that even the girl he adopted and raised as his grandchild may never have seen his face... in the Void, however, the magicks he uses to keep his cowl up and face hidden in shadow do not function, so while he still wears his cowl out of habit his face is not exactly a secret.
Oh, and he's a miqo'te! He's got facial markings, fluffy ears and a fluffy tail. Basically he's cat grandpa.
General Plans: I don't particularly have many plans for Exarch at the moment, save for continuing his record of the Void's history. I have submitted a regain for a book from home, which he will be a giant nerd about because it's a historical account of a hero he greatly admires. It features dragons, for the interested.
CR Planning: I think I'd like for someone to get to know G'raha, rather than the Exarch. The problem of being the Exarch is that it's playing to a role - he is the Exarch because that's what people need of him, but at heart he's a nerdy historian and fanboy. Oh, he'll still be old and tired, because his hero's not around to revitalise him like in canon, but even so...
Imprint Planning: I have two ideas for species imprints! The first is Gremlins, which he managed to accidentally introduce to Lakeland when he brought the Crystal Tower there. They're delightful little creatures that spew insults and make people feel bad. The second is Sin Eaters, a corruption of living beings that turns them into aether-hungry monstrosities that feed on whatever life they can find.
Event Planning: As a habitual secret-keeper who's been hiding pain, suffering and his own identity for a century, the Exarch is doomed. Help him!

Interests/About: Genshin Impact, Granblue Fantasy, Pokemon (games + TCG), Digimon, occasionally PSO2, and a variety of other random games/anime/whatever. Also Elsword, which I continue to be way too invested in despite having quit the actual game like two years ago (me crying as i crawl out of hiatus to play new story content and get attached to even more characters......)
Espio // Sonic the Comic/Sonic the Comic Online (CRAU)
Canon: Sonic the Comic/STC-O.
About: First of all, Espio is heavily CRAU with a two game history, and most of his baggage comes from that... except for one particular event in STC-O, a group fandom continuation that has the blessing, support and even occasional contributions from the original writers and artists of STC. To put it simply, he saw his universe die, his precise canon-point timing means he doesn't even know his friends lived (and even if he did, would it matter after losing literally everything else?) and he's just had to live with that. No, he's not over it.
Because of Witches Reign, Espio is very familiar with the setting of Final Fantasy VIII due to living there for over four years, and will frequently refer to and discuss it. Because of Carvaka, he's unfortunately also familiar with sex-or-die game mechanics and may occasionally bring them up just to illustrate how much worse things could be... so uh, I will check with people before bringing it up and make sure it's mentioned in subject lines when it does come up.
Oh, and because of Carvaka, he's also humanised! He still has his tail and a few reptilian traits like a sticky tongue and being cold-blooded, though.
...oh right, more about the character...
Espio comes from a strange place known as the Special Zone, though most of his efforts are focused on a world called Meridian which features an immense number of superhero parodies. He's part of a team called Chaotix who could be a bit... dysfunctional, because if you didn't know better you'd think they all hated each other. He is aaaaalmost the team's voice of reason and the only one of them Sonic will actually listen to without complaining, but when he gets competitive he gets stupid.
He's used to a world of animal people, used to random, used to stupid, and used to the sky looking like that (because that's his imprint). Combine that with over five years of jamjar life, and you have a very jaded, fed up, lonely and angry lizard who feels like he's seen it all. He's sarcastic and snippy by default and keeps people at arm's length, but when he does form an attachment that person's got a friend for life.
General Plans: The Void is turning Espio into a dragon and he doesn't know how to feel about that. He has wings now, and needs to learn how to use them. Other than that... I kind of want to have him explore what there is to explore.
CR Planning: The boy needs friends. For him, I like a rivals-to-friends, hate-to-like kind of development - Espio has formed a number of his strongest friendships on a foundation of constant arguing.
Imprint Planning: Espio's most recent imprint in the queue is the Miracle Planet, which is a satellite chained to the world that only appears for three days a month.
I'm debating using his CRAU to bring in more FF8 things... perhaps the town of Balamb.
Event Planning: Espio is oh so very dead. The repressed emotions I'll be focused on are grief (he doesn't allow himself to express his grief or discuss his homeworld beyond the basics, largely because others experience the same or worse and don't need to be burdened with his problems) and his ever-growing, bitter resentment when it comes to other people (pushed down because that's not the person he wants to be, and he doesn't know how to reconcile those feelings with his "there is good in everyone" side).
Add | Elsword
Canon: Elsword
About: Self-proclaimed engineering genius and all-around cool badass (also self-proclaimed). Massive robot fanboy to the point where he made himself into a cool fighting cyborg. Has a really obnoxious and abrasive personality, but is secretly(?) a huge tsundere who gets overly attached to everyone because he's kinda lonely and has shit social skills. please be his friend.
General Plans: I'll probably be making an open log for Add soon! not wholly focused on the event since he'll mostly be hiding once the weird shit starts happening to him. For more general stuff, he's still tinkering with machinery in an attempt to make his tech work and he'll be adding some more lightningrods to the more populated areas since that worked the first time, sort of, a little. Also hanging out at the library because hey it's familiar.
CR Planning: quoting my last meme comment like "Quoting myself again because lazy, "anyone who can tolerate his rude ass is greatly appreciated tyvm. He's actually pretty nice(?) once you get past all the posturing but some degree of patience is definitely a must. If you character is a robot, cyborg, or knows a lot about advanced scifi tech nonsense, he will probably harass them about that. Alternatively, give me CR he can have dumb petty squabbles and/or start fistfights with.""
Imprint Planning: I'm sitting on enough for a concept for now, but considerations... I may submit something related to alternate realities/time travel since both are Elsword canon and Add in particular has an interest in them. I'm still kinda weighing that idea though since I don't want to submit something without an idea of how it might work in-game since it might be too complicated to implement beyond a one-off event. BUT I am open to suggestions if anyone wants to brainstorm that?? i just want some kind of AU or ageswap event tbh
Event Planning: OHHHH BOYYYYYYYY he has so many dumb emotional problems its about time he dealt with them. I'm mostly gonna be keeping the event stuff to his current CR since he is a VERY closed person, with way too many problems, but feel free to hit me up if you want to play something out!
I've rambled about this more on plurk but the main thing I want him to address is just like... admitting he not only considers people his friends, but that he's constantly anxious people don't actually like him or wouldn't like him if they knew him better. just a ball of dumb anxiety over here. someone please remind this idiot that he has to start by being honest to people before worrying they'll hate him over it wheezes.
Other: Undecided on what flower to use for Add but I might default to white anemones since they have a personal meaning for him!
Venti | Genshin Impact
Canon: Genshin Impact
About: SPOILERS FOR HIS CANON but it's been awhile since his chapter of the story came out so. Venti is an eccentric bard who loves talking in rhyme, getting drunk, being a useless drain on society, and also happens to be the local wind deity and the second oldest god of Teyvat's pantheon. He is the God of Freedom which basically means everyone is "free" to rule themselves without any divine assistance. It goes a bit deeper than that and he does care a lot about his people even if he comes off as a slacker most of the time tho. Venti is trying his best.
General Plans: Nothing major planned for the moment! Still trying to learn more about the world, meet new people, figure out what he should do with his surprise vacation, etc. I'll mostly be tagging out with Venti this month since I did a toplevel for him last month, so if you'd like to thread with him for something please reach out to me since it's unlikely I'll be making any open logs this time.
CR Planning: Musical types! People he can affectionately irritate! He's very friendly and persistent so hey if u need easy CR I finally have a character that isn't an asshole by default (tho if your character is mean to him Venti will probably take it upon himself to "lighten them up" with some "friendly jokes" just kidding he'll prank the hell out of them). Also other spirits/gods/what-have-yous for obvious reasons.
Imprint Planning: After AC this month I'll have enough points for a new imprint, so!! I'm planning to submit part of Dragonspine, specifically the part that's a cursed, highly toxic dragon skeleton overflowing with spooky energy. As a fun bonus it also happens to be the cursed, highly toxic dragon skeleton Venti himself put there after doing his job as guardian deity one (1) time. This Is Fine.
Event Planning: On one hand Venti is pretty okay(?) at not bottling up emotions too badly, but also y'know 2600 years of watching his human friends grow old and die and everything going to shit whenever he takes too long of a divine nap. I'm undecided if he'll get an infection of his own yet BUT he is a spirit and unfortunately the bar is his favourite hangout so I guess he has no choice but to deal with everyone else's dumb emotional problems, rip. He may be willing to play therapist to some folks! or if anyone who doesn't have weird emotional issues wants to hang out in the woods and get drunk hey call him up.
Other: Venti's hanahaki flower of choice is dandelions since 1) he literally invented them in his world, he's very proud, 2) coughing up big ol clouds of dandelion seeds is funny to me.
Kanon | Turing (2064: Read Only Memories)
Contact: sibilative
Timezone: PST (UTC-8)
Interests/About: Games (mostly JRPGs, playing through DQ11 right now), anime/manga, tea, and a plethora of other things tbh because I tend to dabble depending on what kind of mood I'm in. I work in tech, so a last-minute deadline suddenly being dropped on my head is a very real possibility and that's going to get in the way of RP.
Character: Turing
Canon: 2064: Read Only Memories
About: Tiny robot with a lot of feelings. Turing is a ROM (Relationship and Organizational Manager), which is more or less what it says on the tin, though they're also companions and more recently, sapient people in their own right. Not counting the time Turing has spent in the void, they've spent a week tops outside in the real world, so there's still a lot they don't know and they're pretty impressionable. They're normally pretty easy to get along with, but they can and will snap at others if someone pushes their buttons. Don't let their cute appearance fool you; they can be pretty sassy.
As of late, Turing...has not been doing so well! They're getting homesick and Iwaizumi leaving only exacerbated that problem. They honestly have no idea how to make friends because their canon friends were more of a happy coincidence instead of them actually trying to make some. They still feel a little alienated from everyone because almost everyone is a human or at least takes the shape of a human-like being. They've been staying out of their apartment as well because some Tyranitroubles happened, so they've been spending a lot of time in the library, out in nature, painting slightly gloomy paintings, and being around the wildlife (mostly the Brushboys, Blurrgobos and Pidgeys because the Fluffy Mimics are still a bit scary). The wildlife is so much less complicated than humans!
General Plans: Event plans are below!
Also, they may or may not be trying to convince themselves that messily painting
"JERK"*** or something similar on Kaiba's door would be a bad idea. (They are not happy about losing one last chance to have volleyball practice because of what happened to the gym.)***WAIT NO IT WOULD BE "LOSER" because Turing was bound to pick up bad habits from Blue at some point
CR Planning: Very open to new CR! They're not so good for negative CR because they tend to avoid and not converse with the people they don't like. There are, in fact, two people in the void that they definitely don't like, so this is more likely than you think. Turing tends to get very attached to others very quickly, so fair warning for that.
Imprint Planning: No plans for now, since zone3 just got in. I do want to make a concept imprint for machine sapience at some point.
Event Planning: So normally, Turing is very upfront about their feelings! Feelings are nothing to be ashamed of! If you need someone to talk to your character about feelings, Turing's your bot.
But. Big ol' but here. Turing doesn't like feeling helpless, and by now they've been in a lot of situations where they've needed someone to bail them out. They want to be able to handle something on their own for once, so not talking about their own feelings is at least one way they can regain some agency over the life they've been living in the void. Their emotional infection is going to get pretty bad because of that. I don't want it to get to the worst level of infection, but the second-to-last level is a very real possibility depending on how things go. The flowers/plants they'll be dealing with for the event are aloe vera (affection, grief) and begonias (justice, guilt).
As for the feelings Turing will be dealing with:
1) guilt regarding Hayden's (SPOILERS)
2) sadness about Iwaizumi leaving
3) anger thanks to the gym's new paint job
4) general feelings of helplessness
5) frustration at their apartment not feeling like a safe place for them anymore
6) homesickness
They'll talk about 2-6 after a little coaxing, but they won't open up about 1 with people they don't know. 1 is going to be the main cause for their emotional infection. Most of these are pretty recent, but Turing tends to both experience their feelings pretty intensely and allow them to spiral out of control if left unchecked, so those things and their feelings of helplessness are a nasty combination. :(
Other: I'm resisting the urge to photoshop Turing's face onto the art for the fluffy mimic so please use your imagination and pretend I did it anyway

Timezone: Central
Interests/About: Mario, Star Wars, MCU, and Undertale
Character: King Bowser Koopa
Canon: Super Mario
About: Video game villain that goes go-karting with his nemesis on weekends and really likes beating the shit out of people.
General/Event Plans: Bowser has recently come back from disappearing and having no memory of the event. This is very distressing for Bowser but he's just been returning to business as usual, doing slightly more investigation into the in-universe implications of drops and canon updates.
However, Overgrowth means that Bowser has to actually talk about this distress, and obviously makes it worse. Furthermore, Bowser's constant searching has made him fairly isolated. He also has doubts about whether he'll see his son, dad, nemesis, love interest, et cetera again. Plant disease will also make him talk about this. However, he will try very hard to not talk about it and simply die of overgrowth (he won't die of overgrowth though).
CR Planning:
Overgrowth will probably cause Bowser to place a higher priority on actually having allies and friends who can do things like keep Bowser from dying of Overgrowth where previously all of his energy was put into finding a way home.
He may also try to figure out why people are disappearing and reappearing and therefore keep tabs on everyone constantly. Sometimes trying to have friends is just a different type of research.
Imprint Planning:
I will probably add either Bob-Ombs or try to add Dreams' Deep as some kind of an addition to Mementos, since they're very similar ideas. Bowser's Castle may come somewhere along the line. I also intend to have Bowser regain his car (the Koopa Chase), his wedding shirt from Super Paper Mario, his wedding suit from Super Mario Odyssey, and his doctor outfit from Doctor Mario World

rinoa heartilly • final fantasy viii
Canon: Final Fantasy VIII
About: A subverted manic pixie dream girl who wants everyone to be happy and live life to the fullest; ironically, she hid a lot about herself when first arriving in the Void and while she's opened up a lot about the truth of what she is, there's still a lot of discomfort for her in knowing that if her powers come back, her new friends might learn to be afraid of her!
General Plans: Rinoa's still processing a LOT of stuff emotionally. She misses her friends and loved ones from back home, but now she also knows that if she were to lose her new friends, she'd miss them too. She's in this weird place of wanting her new friends to come to the Void so she can have the best of both worlds. Honestly, apart from this there's nothing in particular; I approached TR for Rinoa from a viewpoint of letting her grow with the world naturally, and it's been a really great experience for her so far!
CR Planning: See above!
Imprint Planning: Her wings are in the queue now, and I'd like to see more of her powers appearing. I'm considering getting a gunblade dropped in her lap
for emotional purposesand letting her learn how to use it, which could be fun! I'm also considering some different locales and species from FF8. ♥Event Planning: She'll be dealing mainly with the fallout of Parsee's extreme infection, so if she does get infected herself, it'll be minor. Also physical because she's honestly pretty good at speaking her feelings, especially since the Mementos incident!

Timezone: GMT +8 aka weird timezone... I usually tag back in the evenings if I can!
Interests/About: I just play Genshin and Elsword and talk about my job. I work in a hospital so sometimes stuff gets really crazy and I disappear from the face of the earth for a few days, but I'll always come crawling back!! I love to RP, can't drag me away from here
Character: Zhongli
Canon: Genshin Impact
About:
Boy am I glad the Void doesn't know what money is or Zhongli will be in a lot of trouble... He's an old (?) man who's usually quite chill and ends up lecturing people on a lot of different topics if you talk to him too long. He's helpful for a given value of helpful, generally quite straightforward and observant. Good to know if you need a parental or grandparental figure.
General Plans: I only did backtags for most of Jan, so I want to start new stuff for Feb. I'm fine with anything!
CR Planning: Kids who need parenting always work well for him! He's used to teaching them/trying to get them on the right life path. Fellow old people CR as well would be nice. I'm not as interested in negative CR at the moment.
Imprint Planning: My first imprint, the Guyun Stone Forest, hasn't been put in yet, but I was also thinking about imprinting the concept of elemental classifications a la Genshin style maybe? Still not too sure on that tho.
Event Planning: I'm not too personally comfortable with this event so I wouldn't have Zhongli get affected, but he can try to talk to people if they need a listening ear/help you clean up your wounds, he's very careful and wouldn't flinch if you bite him out of pain. It's okay.
Other: I'm very uncreative... let me know if you have ideas and we can work it out!
Re: Espio // Sonic the Comic/Sonic the Comic Online (CRAU)
she's got an open if you wanna join in the fun, but alternatively I'll be looking at the event postings in case there's good top levels. I figure bonding over "NOPE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS" is a thing she can do with him or the Exarch.
God, him talking about Carvaka would be so awful for her, since I played her in Yoshiwara once (though this version doesn't have those memories, thankfully for her sake.). Parsee has so many issues in settings like that.

Re: Viridi | Kid Icarus: Uprising
Viridi will also be extremely unhelpful for Parsee's problem.

1) Her return to the shrine - If you're wanting to help out with the purification process, he might have overheard that she and Viridi are accepting prayers and happen by the shrine around the time she's back.
Positive influences like praying at her shrine (paper burns now, yay!) for protection or to protect someone else, or generally encouraging her to be 'more' than a spirit of jealousy are ways in which she tips the scales towards positivity.
I'm likely, at the end of the month, to finalize the plot at least in the initial steps, once she gets closure with Rinoa. But considering how many centuries she spent corrupted, it's sort of an ongoing thing to help stay pure.
2) Berry Eating - This one's more casual. Easy going. You can still do the encouragement thing, just by associating with her and taking an interest. She'll be weirded out, like she usually is, but that option is definitely there.
Either way, I'm good with whatever! Hop in at your leisure.

I can hit your next top level/open up if you want, or you can hit my latest open post for one of the non-Hanahaki prompts at the start.

Contact: PM journals
Timezone: US Central
Interests/About: Math major, fiction is fun, animals are cute. I've been getting back into XCOM lately (Bradford is A Good Boy and Certified Best Husbando, FIGHT ME), it's on sale on Steam until the 18th btw. *eyes emoji* Come join me in XCOM hell!
Character: Indigo
Canon: Starbound
About: Faceless glowing space cowgirl that just got finished saving the universe and uniting the six major races in the process. One of the last surviving members of the Terrene Protectorate (think Starfleet basically, or Space UN) after Earth was destroyed.
General Plans: Just found out you can use the mushroom rock to make concrete, thinking of possibly making a second bathhouse because the first one is a pain to use now. Also interested in making a steam turbine for electricity, possibly using the fallen stars for heat.
I have a general February post for her here, will add an event prompt when I don't have a looming power outage staring me in the face. If you want something lighter and not event-related, though, she's got you covered.
CR Planning: She needs to get to know more people (she's on kind of good terms with Kaiba due to their mutual interest in Getting Stuff Done, but that's about it), but she'll need a bit of a push because she's shy. Any extroverts want to "adopt" her?
Imprint Planning: I have an elemental powers concept imprint written out, all I need is the points. (There are elemental animals and abilities in her canon, and lots of canons have something analogous to elements in them, so I'm trying to cast the net as wide as possible so as to be useful as many people as possible.)
Event Planning: The emotion Indigo will be dealing with is loneliness, despair, etc -- she doesn't fit in among humans, but she doesn't fit in among her own kind either. She wants a family (not even biofamily, just family) and somewhere to belong, but thinks it won't/can't happen.
Also going to play with her Novakid "biology" regarding the disease a bit -- the flowers she'll be "coughing" up will be burnt black beyond recognition
also because I can't find a good flower to represent the emotion I want, she'll be coughing up plasma that's lost its charge (so basically just gas) instead of blood, and if you thought Novakid ran hot normally, just wait until you see one with a FEVER.So yeah, lemme know if your character wants to help her with that? Or I might let the disease run its full course.
Other: Plot with me??? If you have something specific you want to do with Indigo I can make a closed prompt or vice versa!

Character: Samuel Oak
Canon: Pokemon anime
About: A kind-hearted, middle-aged (he's only 50, guys), world-famous scientist who loves his world's equivalent of animals. Serves as a father figure to his arrogant grandson and the son of a friend/former student of his.
General Plans: Hopefully get Pidgey back and make a prompt about that, then some science prompts. (Do any trolly characters want to have an "idea war" where they try to convince the void that Pi is 3 while Sam tries to convince the void that Pi is approximately 22/7? I think that could be fun/funny.)
CR Planning: Can I offer you a nice father figure in this trying time? Or mentor, that's good too. Or just friends, whatever.
Imprint Planning: Have submitted Pidgey as a regain and am waiting on it, going to imprint Lapras when I have enough points, to hopefully make aquatic travel easier.
Event Planning: He's not going to get sick; he doesn't really have any major unaddressed emotions that I can think of, and he's been kind of "paranoid" about infected wounds this whole time, so he's not likely to get a physical infection either.
If you need someone to help your character with a physical or emotional infection, though, he can definitely do that! He is a good listener grandpa with medical experience, so he can help with either.
Other: Plot with me??? If you have something specific you want to do with Sam I can make a closed prompt or vice versa!
